10 Steps to Start Writing Something Creative :-

Last night I was talking with someone very special of mine. Suddenly she said that she had a Swedish essay to write and the deadline was the next day but she was not motivated enough to start that. She had written only one line and couldn't even think something creative for the next line.

I know, every time we try to write something creative, we face the same problem. But how to get rid of it ? It's so good that we're at least trying to write something creative, even that's only one line. Many of us don't even know how to start writing something creative. At least we should know how to start writing the first sentence or line. When we'll write the first line and that'll be making us feel so creative then we'll be motivated enough to start the second line. And this is how we'll be able to write the whole thing we were trying to write.

So, as I told you, she wasn't motivated enough to continue the Swedish essay and that thing made me think last night "How can I start writing something creative and I can continue it till the end ?!?!". And I discovered those specific steps that I follow naturally when I try to write anything creative or anything else and which any of you can follow easily. And I found out these 10 steps :-

        

          Step 1 - Make A Proper Environment for Writing.
          Step 2 - Take Something for Comfortable Writing.
          Step 3 - Try to Drink Something While Writing.
          Step 4 - Do Some Research.
          Step 5 - Make Little Notes.
          Step 6 - Take A Look.
          Step 7 - Think As A Writer.
          Step 8 - Believe in Yourself.
          Step 9 - Start Writing.
          Step 10 - Be Happy, Not Satisfied.

If any of you follow these steps properly, it can be hoped that you'll start writing anything creative without any stoppage.

Step 1 - Make A Proper Environment for Writing.

If any of you are trying to write something then please look around you. Do you really think it's a proper environment for writing anything ?!?! Maybe yes, maybe no. But if that's really not a proper environment for writing anything then believe me, you won't be able to write a single line sitting there. Maybe you should leave that place and find another place which is really a perfect environment to write your feelings on the white pages.

But... Wait a minute !!! What is the perfect environment for writing ?!?!
I'm talking about a peaceful place. A place which is away from the crowd, away from the noises, nothing and no one can annoy you there and your brain can reach at the top of your "Imagination". Can you find out a place like this ?! If the answer is, "Yes!".... BOOOOOM !!! Congratulations... Step 1 is done !!!

By the way, for me there is a few places which are perfect for my writing. Such as, my bedroom, a library, a quiet park etc. I could have said "Office"... But unfortunately I don't have one !!!

Step 2 - Take Something for Comfortable Writing.

Now, what do I mean by "Taking Something for Comfortable Writing" ?!

What I mean is, You have to take any kind of thing like Paper-Pen, Laptop, Desktop or maybe your Phone with what you can write comfortably. It can sound funny. But of course, it matters !!! If the comfortable environment matters then why not the comfortable element of writing ?! Now imagine, you've found out the perfect environment for yourself and you're trying to write something very creative using your laptop but you've never used a laptop for writing before. Then you'll be stacked in the "Uncomfortable Zone" again. So what will be difference ?!

So, doesn't matter it's a laptop, desktop, mobile device or a paper & pen, pick anything you'll be comfortable with. And if you've already picked that up... Congratulations, Step 2 is done !!!

Step 3 - Try to Drink Something While Writing.

As you've read to drink something, I don't mean it should be alcohol. What I mean is, any of the "Hot Beverages" like Coffee or Tea. But for me, the perfect beverage is Coffee. It truly unlocks my mind. But it's totally your choice what you wanna take or drink. But the most important question is, why should we drink something hot while writing ?!

The answer is so simple... "You can't be tired while writing !!!". Yes, You can't be tired while writing. Because we all know that, you're getting tired means your brain is getting tired too. Which means your brain is gonna stop working after sometime. But you can't let your brain leave you alone in this situation. So, the solution is, drink a hot drink, anything you like. So that, your brain don't get tired and you'll be energetic while writing something creative. So, go and grab your hot beverage and start writing whatever is in your mind. If you have already... Congratulations, Step 3 is done !!!

Step 4 - Do Some Research.

Now, as you're gonna write something creative you need to know a lot of things about the topic on which you're gonna write. But you really don't know everything about something. I mean, come on... You can't know everything about something. Or if you really believe that you know everything about the topic you're gonna write on, maybe you'll miss some updates or upgraded information about that thing. So it's really important that you do a little bit research on that topic.

And in this century research is not even a hard thing. Do you have a computer or a mobile device ?! Do you have an Internet connection ?! If the both answers are, "Yes!", then you have everything to do the research !!! Believe me !!! Just go to Google and search "How to do ______ ?" or, "What is _____ ?" and millions of answers will be served in front of you. It's so easy to do some research in this century. So don't waste your time and just do some research on internet. Because you know, "Research" is actually "Re-Search" !!!
So, if you're already finding some proper data for your creative writing on internet, Congratulations... Step 4 is done !!!

Step 5 - Make Little Notes.

As you're doing a proper research you need to make some short notes. And not only make those notes, you need to arrange them in a proper sequence. So that you don't miss anything. And if you make little notes, you won't forget anything and your writings will get the proper face of it.

Just write that down everything you're getting new and interesting. And yes... Not only those things that you're getting after researching, you have to make a little note of everything that was in your mind even before your research. If you've already done it, Congratulations... Step 5 is done !!!

Step 6 - Take A Look.

Let's imagine you've done the last five steps properly. You've done some researches, you've made notes on them. But in this step you've to look back just a little bit. Just look at the notes and make a proper scenario of the whole plot in your mind. Because your little notes has only some short data. But you've to convert those little data into a proper composition in your mind and write that down on a paper or, phone or, laptop.

So just take a look on them and make a proper scenario of the whole plot in your mind. And then you'll be ready to write that little baby down which is screaming in your brain to come out in the world. So, have you take a look on your notes ?!?! If the answer is, "Yes!", Congratulations... Step 6 is done !!!

Step 7 - Think As A Writer.

Think as a writer...??? But you don't even know how a writer think, do you ??? Unfortunately the answer is, "No!". Don't worry. I'm not even telling you to think like a writer. What I mean is... Just imagine that you're a very famous writer. I know it sounds Bullsh*t. But wait... Just imagine you're a very famous writer and you have a huge amount of fan following all over the world. And they'er waiting for your new project.

You can say, "That's totally bullsh*t !". Wait... and just give it a try. You don't even know how much that can fire you up from your inside. And that can motivate you with no boundaries. So, trust me and give it a try. It works on me every time. And I hope it'll definitely work on you. So, if you'll do that, Congratulations... Step 7 will be done !!!

Step 8 - Believe in Yourself.

Believe me man... Whatever you do in your life, if you don't believe in yourself, you can never be a successful person in your entire life. If you think you're a loser, you'll be a loser for the rest of your life. If you believe you're a winner, there's no one who can leave you behind. Just believe in yourself. The world can never pin you down. If you believe in yourself, Congratulations... Step 8 is done !!!

Step 9 - Start Writing.

It's time for the main work to do. Now you have to do that thing for what you were doing the last eight steps. Yes, you're ready to do it. Don't be afraid, don't get nervous. Just start writing. Just write the first sentence and look, how much creativity you're putting on that paper. Maybe you can imagine your creativity in the first sentence. So be motivated by your own words and write another sentence. Just like this you have to keep writing one after another sentence.

If you keep writing your words one after another, after some time you'll find out your first page is completed. Just like this you have to keep writing. If you're already doing it, Congratulations... Step 9 is completed !!!

Step 10 - Be Happy, Not Satisfied.

I hope you've completed your first composition. Congratulations !!! You've made it...!!! Now read that from the first to last just for one time. I think you'll get to know your creativity by reading it. Now, I don't know that's good or not. But I can tell you or suggest you one thing, "Be Happy" with whatever you've made for the first time. Because, that's the most important thing to continue your this particular passion in your life.

Because... Hey, perhaps this is the first time you've written something creative !!! If you aren't be happy with your first creative writing, you won't be able to try it again. But listen to me carefully, I've told you to Be Happy, Not to Be Satisfied. So, you should be happy with your first composition but don't be satisfied. Your dissatisfaction will encourage you to do something new again and your happiness will motivate you to do that & complete that again. So... Be happy but don't be satisfied. Are you really being happy but aren't satisfied with your first creative writing ?!?! If the answer is, "Yes, I'm happy but I'm not satisfied!", Congratulations... Step 10 is done !!!


Now, let's take a look on the whole thing. Step 1 - Make A Proper Environment for Writing. Then, Step 2 - Take Something for Comfortable Writing. Next, Step 3 - Try to Drink Something While Writing. Now, Step 4 - Do Some Research. After that, Step 5 - Make Little Notes. Then, Step 6 - Take A Look. Now, Step 7 - Think As A Writer. The next step will be, Step 8 - Believe in Yourself. Now, Step 9 - Start Writing. And finally, Step 10 - Be Happy, Not Satisfied.
